The Board of Trust in Yellow are delighted that Phil Hodgkinson has made a £125,000 investment into Southport Football Club.
This is the fourth significant investment into club in as many months and outlines the potential which the club has.
We are encouraged by the comments from Phil Hodgkinson and James Treadwell in the statement released by the club today and look forward to meeting with them and the rest of the board in the near future.
Trust in Yellow would like to thank the generosity of supporters for the donations for Liam Martin following his injury against FC United last month.
Donations taken online and at the recent matches at Salford and against Darlington have raised £630.91. The board of directors have made the kind gesture of offering to match the money raised.
Liam will be presented with a cheque for £1261.82 at the game against Kidderminster at The Merseyrail Community Stadium on 9th September by young supporters.
On behalf of everyone at Southport Football Club and Trust in Yellow, we wish Liam a speedy recovery and hope to see him in a yellow shirt soon.
Trust in Yellow would like to thank supporters for their generosity at the game against Salford City today and also for those who donated but weren't at the game.
Today we have raised £255.12 for Liam, which Southport FC board of directors have kindly agreed to match.
If you haven't donated but still wish to, please visit www.trustinyellow.com and make a PayPal donation with the reference, "Liam Martin". The bucket will be rattled again on Saturday September 2nd for the home match against Darlington.
