New Sign At Station

Merseytravel in conjunction with Trust In Yellow and Southport Football Club have erected an advertising sign on Southport Station which the Trust and Club will be using to advertise forthcoming matches and events. The sign is just outside the ticket barriers on Southport Station and over the next few weeks it will be put to good use with posters advertising Pre-Season Friendlies and Family Funday being put on display.

New Membership Secretary

Bill Sloan is the new Trust In Yellow Membership Secretary taking over from Rob Urwin. Bill can be contacted by e-mail to wjsloan@blueyonder.co.uk or by post to 121 Poulton Road, Southport, PR9 7DB.
Membership remains at £10 per year and is free to all under 16's who don't have voting rights but who can still join the Trust.

Minutes Of Meeting - 14th May

Review of previous minutes – Paul I advised that a formal letter had been sent to Sam and to Charlie to request a meeting and the trust has now received a letter back from Sam saying that he will co-ordinate a meeting likely to be in June.
 A further request was put out the use of a van to help move the chairs from Peter Rigby’s house back to the club. Phil advised that the cost of hiring a van would be around £40.

Advertising at Southport Station

Over the past two years Trust In Yellow has been successful in erecting ‘Next Match’ signs in various sites. We are delighted to say that working with Haydn Preece a site has now been secured on Southport station. This will not
only be excellent for advertising future matches but also T.I.Y. and other club news.
Phil Carder went down to Chapel Street for T.I.Y. to meet the station manager, Mike Keating. He has agreed to let us have the use of an existing sign just to the right of the passenger exit.

It is the one with the ‘Park or Ride’ information on in the picture and is already conveniently painted in yellow!!
