Trust in Yellow's Euro 2016 Sweepstake

Win £100 this summer with Trust in Yellow’s Euro 2016 sweepstake.

With excitement building ahead of this year’s tournament in France, you can get involved in the fun while also supporting the Trust.

For a £5 entry fee, every fan who participates will be paired with one of the 24 teams at the European Championship, with the person who has the winning team on July 10 pocketing £100.

The remaining £20 from the funds raised will be donated to the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK.

Everyone who enters will be given a country at random, which will be drawn by Southport manager Andy Bishop.

The closing date for entries is Saturday April 30 before the final match of the season against Kidderminster Harriers. Entrants must be 16 or over.

Entries are already coming in and two sweepstakes will run if there is enough demand, so register your name now.

Soup Kitchen food collection

Thank you to everyone who contributed so generously at the last couple of home matches to help our food collection for the Southport Soup Kitchen.

We basically filled a car with the much needed donations and these will be used and distributed amongst the underprivileged members of Southport's community.

A big thank you to Carol from the Soup Kitchen and her family for coming along to the match yesterday against Lincoln City at the club's invitation and taking the donations away. They were extremely grateful.

Thanks to Howard Birch and Michael Collinson for co-ordinating the collection on the Trust’s behalf.

Please now don't forget the Soup Kitchen and their great work in the community and maybe put an extra couple of tins in your trolley each week! It soon adds up and they appreciate anything they can get.

Who is your Fan of the Season?

Following the success in previous years, Trust in Yellow is pleased to say that it is again running a Fan of the Season competition.

We want to recognise a supporter who has made that special extra effort to give loyal support to the players and team this season.

So this is not just about those fantastic people who give hours of their time in voluntary work for the club and we are sure the club has ways of recognising their efforts.

Our Fan of the Season competition is for any supporter who has gone that extra mile this season in following and supporting their team.

Do you know someone who you think has shown a special passion for the club? Is there someone within the Southport FC fan community who is an unsung hero deserving recognition?

If you know such a person then let us know. Email fans@trustinyellow.com, telling us in no more than 150 words why you think he or she should win this award.

Alternatively you can hand in your nomination at the Trust office.

The closing date is Saturday April 16.

Once we have received all the entries the Trust board will decide on the winner who will receive their trophy at the end of season presentation evening when the various players’ awards are given out.
