Trust in Yellow will be distributing sponsorship forms for Colin Aindow’s extraordinary run to Grimsby Town for the final game of the season ahead of tomorrow’s match against Hayes & Yeading United.

Colin, a lifelong Port fan, will be completing the 163-mile run over three-and-a-half days, setting off from Haig Avenue on Wednesday 25 April and arriving at Blundell Park on the Saturday in time for a 1pm kick-off. The journey takes him up Parbold Hill, across Saddleworth Moor and into South Yorkshire before finishing on the East coast.

The run is in aid of Help for Heroes and Trust in Yellow’s floodlights project. The sponsorship forms allow you to choose which cause any donations will go towards.

Colin has undergone months of intense training, and while he has completed marathons in the past, never has he attempted anything this extreme over consecutive days.

Now, with the marathon less than a month away, all Southport fans are being urged to give generously to provide Colin with as much encouragement as possible ahead of this huge challenge.
