TRUST IN YELLOW TRAVEL - YOUR VIEWS WANTED

Once again next season, Trust in Yellow will be looking to arrange coach travel to as many of Southport’s away games as possible.

The Trust is very keen to hear from members on their views and ideas on improving the service in providing transport to away matches.

Last season, although there was a tremendous response for the FA Cup tie at Derby County and the Trust coach was nearly full for several other matches, there were also too many occasions when either the coach had to be cancelled or it ran at a significant loss.

To get your views, it has been decided that coach travel will be the main item on the agenda for the next Trust members’ meeting. This will take place on Tuesday June 23 at 7.30pm in the Grandstand Bar. All members are very welcome to attend.

The Trust is particularly interested in the views of members who go to one or more away matches every season whether on the Trust's coach or by other means.

If you can’t attend but have ideas on the subject, please send them to Martin Robinson at dmjrobinson@btinternet.com.

The Trust aims to run each trip at a break even cost but within that constraint the Trust will listen to and consider all suggestions you have.

Coach travel will be the first item on the agenda so even if you can’t stay for the full meeting please come along and give your views.

BUY YOUR TICKET TO ATTEND 2004/05 REUNION

Tickets are now available for fans to attend the reunion for the 2004/05 Conference North title-winning team.

The reunion takes place on Sunday August 2 - a week before the new season kicks-off - and features a match between supporters and the championship team, before continuing in the Grandstand Bar with your chance to meet the players.

Event tickets are available for just £5, giving you entry to both the game, kick-off 2pm, and the post-match reunion, which will start from 4.30pm and includes a buffet at no further cost, a quiz and question and answer session with the players.

A ticket will be needed in order to gain entry on the day, and fans are asked to book as soon as possible to help with arrangements and the buffet.

Discounts for family and group bookings are available on request.

There has been a huge amount of interest in the event arranged by Trust in Yellow and sponsored by Moore & Smalley, with all the places in the fans’ team being sold within a matter of days and it is hoped there will be a large attendance on the day.

It also promises to be a really fun occasion, with the supporters’ team being managed by Richard Brodie and the event is designed specifically to give fans the chance to get involved.

The Trust has been delighted with the response from the players and manager Liam Watson, who have all been very keen on the reunion and meeting with supporters.

To buy your ticket or to enquire about family or group discounts, call Colin Aindow now on 07861416859.
