Congratulations to Colin Aindow, who arrived at Blundell Park yesterday for the final match of the season against Grimsby Town after completing his 163-mile ultra-marathon from Haig Avenue.

Colin set off from Southport on Wednesday morning, completing the run by covering an incredible distance over three-and-half days. He also came though some huge challenges along the way, battling against injury and terrible weather conditions.

Colin brought the run to an end by completing a lap of honour around the Blundell Park pitch, receiving a great ovation from both sets of fans.

He called in at 17 football grounds along the way and has thanked everyone from Southport and many other clubs for their support and sponsorships.

Trust in Yellow is very proud of Colin’s achievements and the dedication he has shown in completing the run to raise funds for the Trust, as well as Help for Heroes.

Sponsorships can still be made by following the link below.

Once again, many congratulations Colin!
