Cricket match. Sunday, 22nd July

The weather forecast is much brighter for Sunday so it should be a good day for the annual cricket match between a Liam Watson X1 and a Supporters X1 which is at The Rookery with a 2pm start.

There are still a couple of places available  in the supporters team. If you would like to take part contact team manager Phil Carder either by e-mail to or phone 07871-991474.

We would like to see as many spectators as possible for what is always an enjoyable afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who placed a bid for the shirt signed by all the former players and managers who attended the recent former players' reunion.

The highest bid made was £600. Another bid was received 45 minutes after the deadline but in fairness to everyone who had taken part the dealing of 9pm on Saturday was adhered to.

The first race is at 6-30pm and Liam and the players will be present.

Sunday 31st July at The Rookery, Roe Lane, Southport

Match starts at 2-00 pm Admission is free

The Trust have organised a cricket match between players and supporters

Liam Watson will be captaining his team including first team players (and a certain Steve Dickinson), and maybe a couple of other club staff.

The Trust will be keen to avenge the defeat in the recent Quiz!

This is a great chance for supporters and playing squad to meet up.

Entrance to the game is free.

So please come along and enjoy the high quality 20/20 match.

They think its all a question of Sport!!

They think it’s all a Question of Sport! -   Tuesday, 26th April, Grandstand Bar.

Based on a mixture of the two popular TV Sports Quiz programmes, the evening will feature two teams. Liam Watson will captain a team of four from the club and they will play a team of four supporters.  Liam has selected his team but is not revealing their identity yet but it will contain at least one current squad member.

 The night will also celebrate the 5th Anniversary of Trust In Yellow and Trust President, Eric Redrobe, together with a few other former players will be in the audience.

Tickets are now on sale for £2 to Trust In Yellow Members, £3 Non Members and can be obtained in the Club Shop on Good Friday (9.0am to 12 noon) or Club Shop or Trust Office at the Darlington match, or on the coach to Tamworth,
