WEEKEND VISIT TO BRISTOL

Trust in Yellow will be arranging a weekend visit to Southport’s match at Bristol Rovers on 11 April.

Departing in the afternoon of Friday 10, the package includes travel, as well as two nights’ stay in Bristol city centre.

The trip follows on from the Trust’s highly successful previous weekend visits to Eastbourne and Lincoln.

The package is available to supporters for just £97. Options to include accommodation or coach travel only are also available through the Trust.

The Trust's late treasurer Phil Carder worked hard to ensure that fans can access the full package for less than £100.

With heritage dating back to medieval times, Bristol is an historic city, which has developed into a vibrant, popular place to visit with plenty of sights to see and places to go.

It will be the first time Southport have visited the city for a match since 1974.

As in previous years, the trip is also open to family members who may prefer to come along to spend more time in the city rather than go to the football.

The trip can be paid for in stages with final payments needed by 31 March and supporters are asked to register their interest as soon as possible.

To do so, phone Alan Scarisbrick on 07980911693 or visit the Trust office of a matchday.
