VOTE FOR YOUR PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Voting in the Trust in Yellow Supporters' Player of the Month award is now open.

The online voting form can be completed HERE.

This month's vote will close earlier than usual, on Sunday 31 March, as the only chance to make the presentation is ahead of the match against Alfreton Town on Monday 1 April.

Every month throughout the season, Trust in Yellow members are asked to nominate their star performer from the Southport team, with everyone who votes for the winning player going into a draw to make the presentation.

This month, Shaun Whalley has scored three times, as well as winning a number of penalties, while Andy Owens, Neill Byrne, Chris Almond, Aaron Chalmers and Danny Hattersley have also been on the scoresheet.

Or has another player caught your eye in March?

Voting is open until Sunday 31 March. The member chosen to hand over the award will be contacted ahead of the match against Alfreton, when the presentation will be made.

You can submit your vote in any of the following ways:

- Complete the voting form by CLICKING HERE

- E-mail playerofthemonth@trustinyellow.com

LEDSHAM WINS FEBRUARY AWARD

Trust in Yellow members have voted midfielder Karl Ledsham their Player of the Month for February.

It is the second time Ledsham has picked up the award this season, having also come out on top in the Trust's poll in December.

The 25-year-old was presented with his award by Trust member Kelsey Pye ahead of the match against Cambridge United on Tuesday night.

Ledsham scored twice during February, with both goals coming in the 5-2 win over Barrow, including a fine volley to take his tally for the season to ten.

Trust members will next have the chance to vote in March’s award at the end of the month.

EARL DAVIS SAYS THANK YOU

"I can't thank everybody involved on Saturday enough for the great reception I received. (Especially as I was a bit apprehensive about coming back).

"The fans that I met in person were all really nice to me and the usual suspects in the stands were great with the songs too.

"There aren't many football clubs I'd feel 100% safe taking my family to and leaving them in the stands but the SFC fans were very welcoming to them to so I thank you for that too.

"I loved my time at the club (apart from my performance against Fleetwood at home last season and the relegation both of which will haunt me for life ha) and Saturday was the perfect end, so last but not least, thank you to the TIY for making it happen.

"I've assured them I'll do what I can to help them in the future.

"Thanks a lot. All the best Earl & family"
