Design Our Ten Year Anniversary Badge

This coming year, 2016, sees Trust in Yellow celebrate our tenth anniversary.

When the Trust was formed back in 2006, a competition was run to give youngsters the chance to design the Trust’s badge. The winner was James Dorman, from the old Ainsdale Hope High School, and his design remains the Trust’s badge today.

To celebrate a decade since the Trust was formed and an important year coming up, we’re looking to produce a special tenth anniversary badge. As in 2006, the Trust is again running a competition to give youngsters the chance to design this badge.

We have written to all of the town’s primary and secondary schools to invite their pupils and students to enter the competition.

However, if you, your child, relative or friend would like to enter, you can also do so by contacting the Trust directly.

The competition is open to everyone aged 16 and under.

The winning design will be used throughout the coming year, replacing the Trust’s existing badge for 12 months.

Entries can be hand-drawn or computer-generated. In 2006, James’ winning design was submitted by hand and it was then transferred into a digital version.

We're asking for all entries to be received by Friday December 11.

The winner of the competition will receive a half-season ticket which entitles them to free entry to all of Southport’s home league matches between January and April. Children aged 11 and under are already admitted to matches for free, so if the winning entry is within this age group, they will instead receive a £25 voucher for the club’s matchday shop.

In addition, the winner will receive a family ticket for Premier Bowl at Ocean Plaza and a free 12-month Trust membership.

There will also be prizes for the second and third placed prize. Entries can be submitted by e-mail to fans@trustinyellow.com, by visiting the club shop or Trust office on a matchday, or by writing to Trust in Yellow badge competition, Southport FC, Merseyrail Community Stadium, Haig Avenue, Southport. Boxing Day Coach to Wrexham

A month to go until the Boxing Day fixture and it would be nice to think that we could send a couple of coaches to Wrexham.
The coach will leave in plenty of time, at 11.30, so those who are in the Christmas spirit should have time to have a tipple in Wrexham before the game.
There's a simple 2-tier price system - £10 for Trust members & £13 for non-members. Christmas jumpers are optional. Usual booking systems - call into the Trust office on match day, phone/text Colin on 0786 141 6859, Tweet us or message us on our Facebook Page.
