Sponsored walk to Chorley

A big thank you and well done to all the fans who completed the sponsored walk to Chorley on Boxing Day to raise funds for Trust in Yellow.

A number of fans completed the full 18-mile walk and were joined by other fans and club directors along the way.

The walkers set off from the Merseyrail Community Stadium at 7.30am and arrived at Victory Park around 20 minutes before kick-off.

You can still donate by e-mailing payments@trustinyellow.com or visit the Trust office at the home match against Chorley on New Year’s Day.

Photos from the walk are available on our twitter feed, @trustinyellow.

Sponsored walk to Chorley

Trust in Yellow is running a sponsored walk to the match away at Chorley on Boxing Day to raise funds and we want as many supporters to join us.

Walkers will set off from the Merseyrail Community Stadium at 7.30am before arriving at Victory Park, Chorley, in time for kick-off. The Trust will provide transport by way of return for supporters.

To sponsor the walkers, donate at payments@trustinyellow.com or pop into the shop before the game. The Trust board will also be collecting in buckets at Chorley and a donation of the proceeds will go to a local charity.

The Trust is also giving fans the chance to predict the time it takes for the walkers to reach Chorley. To donate and enter a time, e-mail payments@trustinyellow.com or see a Trust Board member. The closest guess will win a signed shirt donated by the club.

Food collection

We have been taking donations of food at every home game during November for the Southport Soup Kitchen. We now have an additional match against Stockport County in the FA Trophy replay on Wednesday and donations can also be made at this game.

This will be the last chance for supporters to donate. The Trust office is open ahead of kick-off and following the match. Thanks to everyone who has donated so far.
